Dr. Todd Narson is a specialist in chiropractic sports medicine. He has active post-graduate board certification (DACBSP®) through the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP™) and is an Internationally Certified Sports Chiropractor (ICSC) through the Fédération Internationale de Chiropratique du Sport (known as FICS).
As a specialist in chiropractic sports medicine (DACBSP®), Dr. Narson is well-versed in assessing and diagnosing sports-related injuries. He has a specialized knowledge of the biomechanics of the human body during athletic performance and can identify the root cause of an athlete’s pain or discomfort. He can use a variety of techniques to assess an athlete’s condition, including physical exams, diagnostic imaging, and patient history. When necessary, Dr. Narson will go to the field of play (gym, track, stadium, pool, etc.) to examine the athlete in the sport setting where the injury is provoked. This allows him to create an accurate diagnosis and determine the most effective treatment plan for the athlete’s specific injury.
Dr. Narson uses his knowledge of sports injury assessment and diagnosis to create sports injury-specific treatments and rehabilitation programs. He can provide targeted treatments that address an athlete’s injury while considering their unique needs and goals as well as the requirements and demands of their sport.
